A Step Gauge is sometimes referred to as a check master. Calibrating with a Step Gauge is cost-effective, precise, and highly practical.
The Liport-Step serves as an excellent mechanical reference standard. It is suitable for calibrating, monitoring, and ensuring the traceability of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs). Additionally, it can be used for calibrating machine tools, machining centers, and height gauges.
The Liport-Step consists of standard gauge blocks that are accurately aligned and fixed within the grooves of its body. The combined working surfaces of these gauge blocks can generate standard lengths in both unidirectional and bidirectional measurements. The smallest increment available is 10mm, which is ideal for checking the positioning accuracy of guide rails and enabling precise corrections. Custom increments can be arranged upon request.
The Liport-Step offers versatile usage options. It can be placed horizontally or vertically, and with its swivel support, it can be adjusted to various angles. Special-purpose customizations are also available. Each Liport-Step comes with a calibration certificate from the manufacturer. For an additional fee, customers can obtain a calibration certificate issued by the National Institute of Metrology.
The nominal length of the Liport-Step ranges from 300mm to a maximum of 1500mm. Special lengths can be arranged upon request. The standard increment is 20mm, but customized increments can be provided upon request. The gauge blocks of the Liport-Step are available in steel, carbide, or ceramic materials.
